I just want to say that I love having a house with a porch. Remember this post from last year where I was lamenting the fact that our little apartment didn't have a porch and those with porches shouldn't take it for granted??? Well I just want y'all to know that I DON'T take it for granted.

Is it crazy that now I want to paint our front door black so that the wreath will pop?
It's currently off-white...I guess it will have to do :)

Oh, to have a porch of our own... Those of you with porches should not take this for granted! Put out a little pumpkin for me this Fall, since I can't do it myself :)



This one's a little out of place, but I'm just in love with those fall leaves changing! Why, oh why, do Texas leaves wait to change until December-January!?

would love: front porch (with a swing!)

Although I would love to put this on my "must-have" list, I know it wouldn't be a deal breaker if we fell in love with a home without it. BUT! Someday, in our dream home, I would love a big front porch where we could sit in rocking chairs or (better yet) a bench swing! When I was young, my dad and I would sit out on our front porch and watch thunderstorms passing by... Ahhh I'd love to do that again someday.
