stockings with no fireplace or mantle...
Does anyone else have this problem? We have an apartment with no mantle OR fireplace to display our stockings for our first Christmas together... how sad is that?!? I'm trying to think of alternative places to hang them this year, but my mind is going blank. Where do y'all hang your stockings??

We have no fireplace or mantle in our new house, so I'm trying to decide where we will hang our stockings this year...I'm thinking maybe on the stair railing, but I haven't come up with any other good ideas! Let me know if you think of any!
i like the staircase idea... if we had stairs that's probably what we would do! :)
We have that problem too! I think we are going to hang them from some shelves in our living room. I'll post a picture when I figure it out next week!
We hang ours on a tall bookcase. We also have no fireplace! :( It is on our checklist for the next house we buy.
I think you should do some hanging off your kitchen Island- or that table in your dining room. I am going to hang ours off the bookshelf! And I am going to be handmaking them this year- watch out for a blog post on this.
we have a fireplace this year, but we didn't last year for our first christmas either. i ended up hanging ours by these candle stick holders on our living room wall.
and because i know you won't judge, i'll let you know that our tree is already up and decorated. :)
